Prawns sauteed with tomatoes, bell peppers, seasoned with salt, black pepper. Red chilli adds more sizzle to this flavoursome dish.
Peel and devein the prawns, leave out the tails. Wash them with cold water, set aside. Season to taste with salt, freshly ground black pepper, crushed cinnamon and set aside for at least 30 minutes.
Heat up a frying pan and combine seasoned prawns with red chilli pieces, chopped onion, red bell peppers and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the the prawns are well cooked.
Then mix corn flour with 1/2 cup of and stir well. Pour the mixture over the pan and add chilli powder, chopped spring onion, crushed garlic and chopped tomatoes and mix thoroughly. Cover the pan and cook for another 10 minutes until the gravy thickens.
Serve while hot with Basmati rice.
